Have searched all over cant find anything about this unopened box of Upper Deck 1991-1992 French Edition. anyone have any info on it?

First two years of UD, they pumped out French versions of their cards. They look identical to the English ones.... but are in French.

Once upon a time people believed this to be rare, and they commanded a big premium over the English cards. That turned out to be false info from UD.... they're probably not quite as plentiful as the English ones, but they're not particularly rare - and I don't think there's any premium anymore (hasn't been for a long time)

They actually were quite rare. At first. Then when people started paying big bucks for the 1990-91 French version, Upper Deck not only printed more, but stamped the cases with the original printing date to cover what they did.

It's detailed in the book Card Sharks, and shows you what lengths companies will go to when dollars are involved. It's a shame because those cards could have been a nice premium option during a time of overproduction.

UD has also put out some french sets more recently. For example 2009/10 series 1 comes in French. They are rarer but less collectible, so are generally worth less.

Maybe it is just me, but I find that some of the French auto versions of the cards seem to be rarer than the English auto versions and therefore carry a small premium in price. I have a few of the Peter Forsberg autos and anecdotally, the French version pops up less often than the English.

If you want to go drastic like, some of the UD logo stickers have variations. They might be different in the print runs on the french but not sure. No premium for that.
