Perfect age....but a goalie :(


I liken that to other sports....I stay away from pitchers/catchers, NFL defensive players and goalies ;)


Everyone loves the player who scores....

I hate not being able to decide lol




Brule =

Pros:
Has a lot of nice autos available to collect.
I like the Blue Jackets team (name/colors..etc)
Has good upside

Cons:
Don't see any


Staal =

Pros:
Has great upside

Cons:
Has 1 auto out?
Is teamed with Crosby & Malkin...dual/triple autos will be EXPENSIVE.
Don't like the Penguins at all....plus, they might be moving out of Pennsy.

Any of a list of guys from hot teams such as the Ducks and the Sharks. The Ducks have Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry and both players are budding superstars. The Sharks have Steve Bernier and he is a budding power forward and some of his cards are relatively cheap with only his CUP Auto Patch RC being the one high-end rc that he has.

I would stay away from Brule for now. He is not being treated properly in Columbus and even with Hitchcock running the show, he is not performing. Staal will never put up big time offensive numbers since he is in the shadow of Malkin/Crosby and even others, but he will develop into a solid second line scorer for the Penguins..

Straight from my Wild Media Program: Niklas Backstrom is the backup goalie on the Wild. Born 02/13/1978. He will be 29 in February. Played for years in Finland....last year with Karpat Oulu. It is his first year in the NHL, so technically, he is a rookie. Sort of like when Ichiro joined the Seattle Mariners after years of playing Japanese baseball.

Gotcha....someone goofed on his DOB. Thankfully I wouldn;t ever collect a goalie anyway....


And Thankfully there are honest members here that don't feel the need to be wiseguys and give childish advice....

Here's the complete list I compiled of NHL'ers who where born from 1986 to 1988.....which meets my criteria.

Note: I did not list any defensemen or goalies.


Phil Kessel - 1987 - Bruins LW - 5 goals, 4 asst

Dustin Boyd - 1986 - Flames C - 0 goals, 1 asst

Gilbert Brule - 1987 - BlueJackets C - 3 goals, 3 asst

Wojtek Wolski - 1986 - Avalanche LW - 8 goals, 13 asst

Anze Kopitar - 1987 - Kings C - 10 goals, 21 asst

Guillaume Latendresse - 1987 - Candiens RW - 7 goals, 7 asst

Alexander Radulov - 1986 - Predators RW - 10 goals, 3 asst

Jordan Staal - 1988 - Penguins C - 9 goals, 2 asst

Bobby Ryan - 1987 - Ducks RW - No Stats





That's the list I want to choose from.....
 
I would go for Radulov. He is not even getting a regular shift and already has very good stats and he's on a winner.

BANG! John is on the money, too bad about the DOB preference you have because Stastny is the guy I was going to suggest as well.
