So I've been around the hobby a while and, while I haven't been too active here at HI, I still dabble in the occasional break and trades around the net.

I've been collecting since I was a kid and have a pile of cards laying here dating back to the mid '80s. Most of them are hockey but there are some football, basketball, baseball, and racing. As I counted nearly 10,000 cards I've been trying figure out how to sell these. I've posted an ad on the local Craigslist with VERY limited results. I've been gun shy about eBay or any other source that requires shipping this many cards, simply for the logistics of the shipping costs and handling care.

Has anyone tried to sell a large quantity like this? What was the best method? Any advice would be appreciated as I don't really have the time to dedicate to the hobby and my kids just aren't showing any interest to carry it on.

Thanks in advance!

depends on what you are trying to sell exactly..if its base from the late 80s early 90s then youd be better off either donating them or tossing them
