I have a friend in the Atlanta, GA suburbs that wants to get a 100count box of Ultra Pro pages. It doesn't matter if they are regular or silver series. The problem is that he doesn't have a job and doesn't want to spend the retail price. Previously before I knew he collected cards (not sports cards) he told me he would buy those $10 packs which is a big rip off.
Now, if I wanted to buy a box of Ultra Pro, I can get it for way cheaper than the retail price, like $15 or so. I know you guys who frequent your local card shop get great discounts on stuff too, so you should know what I mean. So I looked into the price it would cost to ship a box of pages to him, and it comes pretty close to $20 just for the shipping.
So I'm looking for some suggestions:
1. Is there any dealers in the Atlanta area I could refer him to so he can go buy the pages, or a local dealer that could ship it to him, which would be cheaper since it would be in the same county likely.
2. Would anyone be able to buy the pages and send them to him if I sent you the money? That way you'd get your dealer price and the shipping would be pretty cheap also.
Let me know if anyone has any other ideas.
