Hi,

I started out as a baseball collector, now almost strictly hockey. However, I'm a HUGE BC fan, and my wife is a HUGE TNG fan, notably Patrick Stewart. I've never gotten into non-sports, and I'm not looking to spend a huge ton of money.

I've looked on eBay, and I saw Patrick Stewart autos around $100-$200, which is more than I'm lookign to spend. So for TNG, my question is, what boxes exist that have a possibility of a nice Stewart card (auto, some sort of insert, do they offer 'set-used' clothing, etc)? I have seen the inaugual boxes on eBay that offer holograms, but was there somethign put out, specifically for TNG, where you can pull cast autos?

As for Bruce Campbell...just help please. Is there an Evil Dead/AOD-specific set out there? What are the breaks like? Can boxes be had cheaply (~50 PPD to US)? Please let me know.

I appreciate any/all help. Thanks!

JD

I don't know specifically which sets have Stewart autos, but he does have several. Try looking through https://www.scifihobby.com/ for checklists of Rittenhouse Star Trek releases. Also, I've definitely seen show worn material cards of Sir Patrick.
I don't have any specific knowledge, but I do know that there was an Army of Darkness release at some point, but I can't remember any detaisl, other than there were sketch cards. If you're looking for Bruce stuff, he has autos and show worn pieces in a Xena set and an autograph in a Spider-Man release (where he's the wrestling announcer). Hope that helps a bit.

Man...looks like my best bet is Quotables The Next Generation, which runs about $85/box, a bit more than I was lookign to pay (esp. with only 1 auto per box). Do you know when they'll announce the checklist for TNG Series 2, or has there been any talk of who the autos may be?

To be honest, I have no idea. I'm not too up to date on newer non-sports. Oh, and it occurred to me that Stewart has an X-Men auto as well if I'm not mistaken.

Stewart's autos are in demand. Really, $150-200 is standard for anything Trek-themed; Americana/Pop Century type sets go for less money usually.

Non-Sport Update is a decent enough price guide for the purpose. And if you want a good checklist site for nonsport:
nslists.com - Allender's House of All Lists.
