Hi

Tired to waste money on boxes with suspect rookies. What would be the best product for the money for old timers, good players of course. New product coming or old one

thanks

2001-02 Greats of the Game, 2001-02 Upper Deck Legends or 2004-05 ITG Franchises would be my top three in no particular order.

According to a Beckett article, UD will be releasing Masterpieces in 14-15. That would be ideal if you want to avoid expired redemptions.

Thanks all of you, I saw that Materpieces one, wondering if it woulld be all classic/old time players?

Looks like the 08-09 Masterpieces set was all retired players, so I would assume the same for 13-14. Might be a few months before it comes out though...

anything my ITG Ultimate, always lots go great old timers in that product, personally I love the stuff for the HOFer autos and GU

Are you looking to bust wax or buy singles?

The world of player collecting has been fantastic for me. I really enjoy more than any set I ever built back in the day.

Or come up with a unique project of your own. Autos from a certain team or certain era. HOF themed projects. The possibilities are endless.

Now if you want to bust wax....I like what has been suggested with Masterpieces or Classic Signatures.

Regardless, I hope you find something that will be fun and rewarding.

I also saw 2006-07 UD Parkhurst NHL Hockey Hobby Box but there may be lots of expired redemption I heard?

I may stick with the lower price of Classics until the new Masterpiece comes out I guess.

I hear ya and these are the nicest I've found...

04-05 Legends Classics, Sig Moments. Photos are outstanding and base set is killer

01-02 Fleer GOTG . Again another nice set

06-07 Parkhurst . Very nice but it the set collector will find it tough nailing those super Sp

Parkhurst Champions... Beautiful set wires etc. Can get pricey along with SP

My fav... 04-05 ITG Franchises. Another big set. Drawback is no Gretzky, Howe or Orr. That being said the list grows bigger of deceased players and designs are amazing.

good luck with whatever you choose. All this being said now that UD has the exclusive, hurry up and do another vintage themed product
