Does anyone else do this? I had to be a glutton for punishment and look back at an old sale thread from 15-16 UD buybacks to see how much I sold the Kucherov YG buyback auto gold pen /25 for....$60. Yikes. Wish I had a mulligan on that one! That and the Gaudreau young guns jersey number blue ink /13. What a box break that was!

I have done this in the past. Back when I had Photobucket I kept all of my old scans of cards I traded and sold. I wish I had not traded away or sold so many of my YGs.

My three biggest regrets I can think of off the top of my head was selling a Modano rookie buyback for $50, a Hellebuyck Young Gun Exclusive for $60 and not taking offers of over $100 for my Bernier Cup Rookie when he first joined the Leafs... now I'd be lucky to get much for it at all... But then again I made up for that by selling my Raycroft rookie collection during his Calder season...

Yeah I have always regretted selling the Toews young guns exclusive I pulled. I got $200 for it but last one I seen sell went for ALOT more

I like looking back at some of the cards I've pulled. It's insane what I sold NOW expensive cards for and equally nuts what I have sold cards that are near worthless for. C'est le guerre.

Very few regrets as I sell and trade so little. My regrets would be on the buying side. I have an affinity for blueliners, who are ultimately never worth anything no matter how good they are.

I used to have a "GONE" folder in my bucket, was always a good laugh seeing what I had gotten rid of, and if I had any regrets.

And I echo someones statement on selling things that are worth a ton now, and vise vera. Pretty funny.

I keep a database of all transactions I have done since the late 90s. When I go back and see what I spent on Jagr inserts back then, I do shed a tear or two. Paying shipping on individual cards--imagine if we had COMC or sportslots back then!

That is cool, I wish I would have thought to do this. Although the regret factor would kick in for sure on a lot of stuff.

I collected the Star Wars Power of the Force figures around that time, too. What I paid for some of those figures back then is embarrassing. Some of them you can't give away for the cost of shipping.

Sold off 80% of my collection. Made some money, lost some money, No regrets. (Ok, maybe the Paul Henderson PSA 8 RC, but when you need a furnace what can you do?)

I don't have records of what I paid for stuff back in the day, but I have a pretty good memory with some pieces, especially key ones. Now when I sell, I'm trying to make a note of what I sell them for so Future Me will know just how badly I won or lost.

I know what I paid back in the day for some stuff was looney tunes compared to what it sells for now.

That said, I also got looney tunes bucks for some stuff that goes for diddley now.
