I like doing small projects, and I'm a big fan of Richards, Carter, and Giroux...unfortunately, so are a lot of people, most of whom have a lot more $$ than me.
I've always admired guys like Ray Bourque, guys who are pretty gifted offensively, but are great defensively and can throw their weight around. Can't do Phaneuf, once again, the $$ is an issue. I'd like to do a Kimmo Timonen collection, but unfortunately he doesn't have a lot of true RCs (only 1, in fact) and I'd like to start with a younger player.
So, I was thinking that Eric Johnson might be the next guy that comes in and can play both ends well and can use his weight to. Anyone else in the same league as him with somewhat-affordable cards around the same age, preferably out of the Atlantic Division?
