Did anybody see the return of the Dudley Boyz tonight? That arena damn near exploded when they stepped onto the ramp....I actually got goosebumps. Great to see them back.

hopefully they stick around

i thought they were entries in the royal rumble werent they?

sadly time has taken its toll on the boyz, i think injury's and health remain a problem

Bubba ray was in the rumble...the tag team division has been garbage for years, it will at least bring credibility for a while but rehashing old teams might help new teams learn that you have to be a tag team not two singles wrestlers pretending to work together

Yeah, I don't expect them to be the same Dudleys circa Edge/Christian and Hardy Boyz era of TLC matches (arguably the greatest era in tag team history), but it's great for nostalgia sake. Bubba Ray must have been wondering "what was I thinking?" because I am sure that crowd was louder than any single crowd that he was in front of during his entire TNA run. They certainly looked a ton better than nWo (Hall, Nash, Xpac) looked the night before at SS. The drugs and lifestyle have really taken their toll on those three guys.

Secondly, man oh man, I don't know how New Day took those bumps last night without being injured. Did you see how Kofi and Xavier hit the ground when they came out of the ring? Ouch.

Yeah devon looks almost the same minus being older. Bubba ray looks to be in rough shape, he was never ripped but he has gained weight. Nash, Hall and XPac lived rough lives, honestly only Nash has looked decent despite his issues the last few years, I always fear Hall will OD and pass any day the way he carries himself.

The Woods bump looked painful. I was a tad creeped out by BIg E doing that weird grind dance the night before haha

I never really noticed Bubba Ray's weight. That would be funny considering he is not far removed from being the top dog in TNA and really reinvigorating his career.

Yeah he was never in shape but you can see it, i was amazed he went from top dog to a tag team guy again but he is aging so take a contract with some money behind it and less work.

What? It has been documented Bubba is in pretty much the best shape he has ever been as a wrestler. His last singles run in TNA was great. Devon also looks like he has lost weight.

He doesnt look like it to me, i mean his cardio could be great could be the difference. Look at samoa joe or others can be chunky but in great shape. Im going off appearance alone.

I gotta go back and watch more apparently haha, its been years since I watched any of it consistently, I watched heavily from around 1990 til 2003, then really havent gotten into it. My brother is a faithful fan, watching all sorts between ROH, TNA and WWE since we were kids.

re: Bubba's weight gain...are you guys sure? He looks like he'd LOST weight to me. I remembered him being a lot bigger in the heyday. He looks like he's taken a lot off the midsection. He's definitely smaller than he was in ECW.

As for D'Von, again...I think he's the one that's gotten bigger but he gained a bit of muscle in the years in between. I saw him in person a few years ago at a TNA House Show (where Bubba openly lied to and then snubbed a kid for an autograph...but that's for another time) and he was pretty big then compared to 10 years before.

As for the earlier comment about Bubba going from being a top dog to a tag team guy...there isn't anywhere for him to go now. TNA probably can't afford him as a top guy, and he's not likely to make a run in the WWE where he's always been viewed as a tag team guy. I wager that Bully Ray was supposed to be similar to, but never quite panned out like Scott Steiner emerging as a huge singles star.

Anyway, it's good to see them back. WWE's product as of late has been fantastic. I'm getting interested in watching it fulltime again. The guys and I went to the house show when it was in Vancouver and I couldn't believe the quality of the wrestling/entertainment mix, especially coming from the NXT guys. It's been money since they told Bill Demott and Tom Prichard to hit the road.
