Which Leaf product will have the better memorabilia--Lumber Kings or Pearl? And what does everyone think of these 2 products?

Lumber Kings is only stick memorabilia. Pearl has a lot of different memorabilia, so better for that. But Pearl is also very expensive compared to Lumber Kings.

Just saying.

When I saw that they used an event used golf bag for the Gretzky memorabilia in a past Pearl release, I lost interest. But Lumber Kings is fantastic. I particularly enjoy chasing Dryden and other 70s Habs from this product.

2 very different releases. Pearl is a super high end product that will feature amazing relics, multi signed cards, cut signatures and new this year will be book cards with over 10 signatures!

Lumber Kings is sticks and only sticks! A lot of wood if you will ;).....but a great value for the price! I will be tweeting out some cool Lumber Kings Images this week! Some new additions to this years Lumber Kings! more signatures as well! over 150 nameplates with some signed!!!!

OK, The Gretzky Golf bag...time to move on! It was something different. period. Not like we haven't used an amazing assortment of Gretzky Hockey game used items the past 7 years. To make that your one reason to not enjoy what I think is the coolest hockey brand on the market seems silly, to each their own I guess. This years Pearl will be loaded! (No Gretzky golf bag was harmed in the process)

What a nice way to respond if someone is not interested in your product for whatever reason.

While not a golf bag Upper Deck used a gear bag of Gretzky. For my two cents I have a hard time thinking Gretzky carried his own gear bag but maybe he did.

When I pulled the card I thought great something just a little different.

They are two products that you really can’t compare. Both are great products but to put it in Upper Deck’s terms it’s like asking what is a better product, Artifacts or Cup?

Does anyone know what the price point on this product may be.
Price per pack, box, case.I have not opened any wax in many many years.
This may be one I can get back into the busting with.

I love your products. A good portion of my PC is Leaf. Ive been a major supporter of your products over the years. As I look at my Gretzky PC I see a lot of Leaf products. My Invictus 1/1 with Taylor Howe etc is one of my favorites. But my focus is hockey, not golf. If I want a Gretzky memorabilia piece, I want something to do with hockey. Period. Thus the disappointment with the golf bag as a 1/1 in such a top level product like Pearl.
The poster asked opinions on the memorabilia in each of the two products and I provided mine. That's not my only reason I prefer Lumber Kings over Pearl, but the poster didn't ask for a long list. He asked about the memorabilia. A Lumber Kings Gretzky stick is a game used hockey piece. A Pearl Gretzky 1/1 Memorabilia piece is an event used golf bag. I told him what I preferred.

You wont see me on here venting on you or calling your opinion "silly" and Id appreciate that you, as a representative of the Leaf company on here, do the same for me and respect my opinion even if it differs from yours. All the best to you and Leaf. And I will continue to buy your products in spite of this exchange. cheers.

Winston,Lumber Kings last release was $140-$160us per pack/box.the Pearl Hockey release was $1,300 per box at my Lcs. typically 10-20% less on a case buy.

i LOVE all the Leaf stick releases, never have i felt cheated on a box or case break.I've never tried Pearl as i'm not that high of a roller,i prefer mid high end.

So that makes it more expensive then The Cup.

I didnt call your opinion silly, I said not opening a product becasue you didnt like one aspect, one card out of thousands is silly. I mean, it kind of is isnt it?

I didnt find this exchange to be as negative as you might have. Not sure why you took it that way. You haven't seen me use the Gretzky bag since have you :)

My point was Gretzky had a ton of game used Hockey in Pearl also, why not focus on that? Anyway. no harm no foul. Collect and enjoy! Of course I respect your opinion, but I will always retort with my thoughts. Lets not make more out of it then it should be. I still have a ton of that bag left, dont make me break it out!

I thought it was! thank you!

LOL!

And kudos to Boom Boom for taking the high road!

The Road has many turns, maybe all are high. I really don't see what I said that was that offensive? I didn't call his opinion silly, I said focusing on that one aspect as a reason for not enjoying the product seemed silly. Especially after 3 years. The original post asked about the products and maybe while mentioning what he didnt like he could have mentioned also what he did.

I didn't call anyone names, didn't use foul language. After some of the abuse I have taken on these boards the past 10 years, this is what you think was so negative?

I enjoy posting previews on these boards, I enjoy taking opinions and suggestions. If one time maybe I push back slightly only to take garbage for it aint worth it.

Most often they don't. I've been in several locker rooms and the team staff tend to load and unload them. Joey Moss definitely touched it more than Wayne did.
