As you all know Upper Deck Ultimate Basketball released recently. I am a huge Lakers and Magic Johnson fan so as excited as I was to see new Magic cards, the cost of them and the quantity of them really gave me some swift junk adjustment.
I am still a few cards shy of all the Magic autos in the product but I have a fair chunk of them done. Here's the past 2 weeks of "work" with a few incoming still. This is kinda mind-boggling so hold on.........
First up a sweet dual signatures of Magic and Kareem #12/25!
Larry Legend and the Magic Man dual auto #19/25
Now here's the tricky stuff I had to track. Ultimate had it's Signature lineup broken down into FIVE different versions (Achievements, Honors, All Stars, Loyalty, MVP's) with one of the versions having 3 cards of some players (Ultimate MVP's). So Magic had 7 cards in this run. I have 6 so far. Combine the price point of this product, the value and popularity of Magic cards and super low serial-numbering on these and I think I have pulled off a minor miracle. Here's da goods!
