Justin - Thanks for the trade... and the surprise throw-in.

The trade was actually for the Naslund... but Justin threw in the Peca jersey. Of course, he probably didn't realize that I'm a NYR fan... and will be subsequently using the Peca card as a drink coaster.

Next two are from eBay. . .

Gordie Howe - UD Swatch of Six Jersey Card /15

The Howe was from that scrumptious BIN steal a few weeks ago. I guess the seller didn't grasp the concept that paying for Express shipping should mean they get to the post office sooner than two weeks after receiving payment. But I digress.

Now, I have a slight dilemma with the next card. . .

Mark Messier - UD Swatch of Six Jersey Card /25

As you can tell, the inner part of the "6" is missing. Looks like it was severed somehow during the cutting process. I believe someone on Beckett also posted a Shanahan card like this too. Anyone think that Upper Deck will replace this card for me? It's not serial numbered, so that should make things easier. I took a chance buying this card... but it was work the risk considering my INVESTMENT. Thoughts?

UD should be able to replace it. I would send it in. $5? ****, I wish I had that kinda luck

i wouldnt send it in, waiting 6 months for them to send it back or dont replace it at all, i dont think its worht cinsidering that the card in itself is in good shape

Jay, Nice pickups. The Howe is sweet. If you decide to resell it on the bay it shuld bring in a pretty penny. As for the Messier? Who knows? UD is a hit and a miss with that stuff. If it were me, I would sent it in, but I dunno. Mike

NIce Steals! Send the Mess in and the worst that can happen is that they can't replace it and send it back to you along with 6 packs of Beehive(MOJO) lol.. By the way did ya get the Legends base cards?
