Mail Day..AKA WHY DOES TOPPS ONLY HAVE 1 COLOR PATCHES??

Got a Horton Parkie Jersey RC AUTO and a Horton Bowman Premier Performance Patch 46/50.. Now comes the question of the day.. Why the does Topps only have 1 COLOR PATCHES?? This is a "Patch" from the Panthers Jersey and all they can get is a all "red" patch?? I have never seen a multi-color or pattern patch from this subset. Are these patches from numbers? Another reason why Topps to me is a "4th line" company.. Ok end of quasi-rant.. The Parkie is avaliable but "patch" is pending for Terry..

I firmly believe, and have for at least a year and a half, since I got my Comrie pristine patches jersey full of stitch holes, yet single colour.
add to that it was a single colour, all red, which is not possible from an edmonton oilers jersey.

My firm belief is that they take their jersey's and rip off the layers. top to bottom in the numbers.

I'd scan it, but I'm set for bed, dentist appt. tomorrow, first in 3 years, that should be fun! stupid dentists. hehe.

Anyway,
I'll scan it tomorrow w/ a reminder.
tomorrow evening,
trip to St. Catherines in the offing to pick up a DVD I won.

I just wish I was covered.
the checkup alone is going to cost, and then when they find whatever, that'll be more.

THis dentist in particular, I'm inbetween on.
Havehad a negative prior experience.

We'll see how she goes.
 
I have one 2 color patch from Topps and it's a 02-03 Topps Chrome Blackburn patch, other then that haven't seen a 2 color patch in a later series.

I pulled a nice 4 color Topps Pristine Patch of Roy! But I think it speaks for itself when beckett says: multicolor Patches x 2 High BV ! Yes for the Pristine Patches you have a multiplier for a multicolor patch. Crazy. Or poor for Topps?

Tough to see there, but first off, oilers jersey's don't yield an all red swatch that big, unless something is tugged off.

There's a zoom, still difficult to see. you can see the horizontal lines of stitching going across the swatch. I suspect that's where it got peeled.
