Need some opinions here please

I purchased a card on may 2nd from a seller from facebook group. The deal was he would mail it on monday the 4th.

Fast forward, i have now received packages from across the US and from across Canada but still not this package. The kicker is we are in the same city, but due to the current situation he didnt want in person deals.

When would you start to assume that it isnt coming?

If you live in the same city, that is definitely questionable and I'd demand an answer. IF the card was mailed, it really should have gotten across town by now, LOL. That said, given how the mail is (or isn't) working right now, NOTHING would surprise me. I'm waiting on a package from the first week of March. The guy I traded with has not received mine either, and it is the MOST RECENT of FIVE packages he is waiting for.

Mail service is all over the place but in the same town should be a concern. I received my end of a trade made here that took an extra 10 days to arrive after my cards were received. :| I wasn’t worried as nothing surprises me with mail service these days.

Yeah, the same town is pretty odd. However, I would give them the benefit of the doubt right now, as things are uneasy right now both in terms of mail delivery and everyone's personal lives.

I would nicely check-in with this person and just give them updates if it hasn't arrived yet, etc. I'm sure things will work out fine.

It is too early to say for sure. As mentioned above, the mail delivery times are absolutely all over the place. In the past few months I have had a card take 5 1/2 weeks to go 75 minutes. On another deal I mailed two envelopes, due to the size of the shipment. Same day and same mailbox, but they arrived three weeks apart with no signs of a reason for the delay. If you are still waiting in another two weeks I may be more concerned.

Still way too early. I received a bunch of stuff this week that I bought/traded for in early April. It was all coming from within Canada, and in many cases from Ontario and Quebec (I'm in Ontario)

Being in the same City, it should have arrived by now. However, I've had items take 4-5 weeks in Canada and the US and other times less than a week so who knows.

I’ve been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a package that was originally 15 minutes from my place and have no worries whatsoever

Just because you are in the same city means nothing if it has to shipped to a sorting station in another city before it is returned back to your city. just be chillin like Bob Dillon

Thanks for the feedback everyone....im not too worried about it...just found it odd that stuff from all over the country and even the US purchased from a later date has all arrived...but the one from so close not so....ill keep you all posted on the good news when it arrives:):):)

IF it had to be sorted by hand, like a bubble mailer, it could sit there for week(s) AND even Registered / Expedited mail takes a week longer, essential service BUT understaffed!

Yeah I think you are ok.

I had an eBay item just arrive this week that was shipped from a town only hours away and it was shipped on the 27th of April.

The mail is all over the place. Waiting on a registered bubble for 3 weeks from out west and some regular mail has been lighting speed. It's the same for Amazon packages.....some fast and some delayed.

We gotta expect this so I wouldn't worry yet...I'd hold tight
