Mailcall: Meigray + Lots of cards...

Been pretty busy lately so I have not been around much. However, I have managed to add the following items to my collection in the past month or so...

I'll start with the Meigray mail.

Was not able to match it up to these pics, even with the local police's forensics guys examining it. Would've been a cool match to have a pic of the jersey under blacklights showing where the blood was. In any event, Meigray says that the teams treat the blood with an enzyme to take it out of the jersey. Who knows whether that prevents it from showing up later on, but I trust them...

Next up is an addition to my 2nd Debut Patch set courtesy of saskatchewan197 and Canada Post :beer: .

Also picked up a few inserts in trade with antoine38. They are available if you need them...

And a neat vintage GU piece in a trade with missionhocky10.

Next up is a bunch of cards from one of my favorite auto sets. I have always been meaning to pick up a few of these and that is just what I have done. I have no visions of completing this set, just like the looks of 'em.

And I'll wrap things up with the latest Girardi pickups. The ITG jerseys are my 12th and 13th copies and the ITG Numbers gold /10 is my 3rd (and nicest) copy which was acquired from a member on here whose name escapes me at the moment.

Very sweet finals jersey. That would have been pretty cool to photomatch some of the blood stains. Love the auto drafts too. Congrats!

I also have a jersey that I thought would show some blood, but it doesn't show. I was told by someone else on the boards about the enzyme crap they put on it right away too get rid of it. I guess blood on the jersey gives hockey a bad image (boo hoo). Perhaps try looking on the INSIDE of the jersey in that area. Mine does show some "darker" staining, but I don't know exactly what it might be.

Also, although you can't match the blood on the outside, I think you should be able to match those threads coming off the patch (to the right of the L in Final). Something is always better than nothing

very sweet. Yes I have always liked the autodraft set as well. Great concept.

Timofei Shishkanov was suppose to be as talented as Kovalchuk but with no heart whatsoever and no desire at all. He played so so in the AHL and it seems like he will never play in the NHL again.

That Auto Draft cards from Sp GU are awsome each of them have diffrent limitation ,vary interesting pictures on them I like that Prospal ,Sullivan,Conroy very very nice cards and great choice from you.I dont see these cards very often so if someone put together more of them is pleasure to watch .....

Didn't think of that, I'll have to check the inside later and see if there is anything.


Thanks for all the other comments as well. There are a lot of guys in that auto set who were/are foreign to me, but the design is a killer (and the pics actually match the teams, lol).
