Mailday: 2002-03 UD Mask Coll. Patch Patrick Roy upgrade!

Today I finally received this card :D :D :D :

It's an upgrade for the solid maroon-coloured Roy I had.

This leaves me only 1 single-coloured patch in my 42 patches set: the Fedorov :mad: . If somebody spots a multi-coloured Fedorov patch (#PGSF) from this set at the Expo, I'll pay full BV for it ($80).

Hi Patrick,

Of the 12 or so Fedorov's I've seen only one has been 2 colour and it was just barely that. It also sold for very close to book if I remember correctly. It was one of the first 3 or 4 to hit ebay. I was holding off on it hoping for a better swatch but one never seemed to surface. Good luck in the hunt though. Nice Roy by the way. I had my eye on it but saw you were high bidder and left it alone. Congrats.

Steve - I guess you're right about the rarity of a multi-coloured Fedorov in the set, which is pretty strange since all the other patches with Detroit Jerseys I've seen (Yzerman, Shanahan, Osgood) are multicoloured! In my virtual collection of 2002-03 UD Mask Patches I have so far: 4 of 13 Yzermans, 6 of 37 Shanahans and 5 of 31 Osgoods and 3 of 30 Fedorovs. The Fedorovs are indeed solid reds....
So if two multi-coloured Fedorovs do turn up at the Expo, I would be very interested in both!!
