So I got a 03/04 Parkhurst Rookie Numbers Patch 3 Color of Matt Stajan /19 in the mail today and the card is awesome but there is a very noticable crease in the middle of the card which completely ruins the card! Well it came in a white envelope, no damage to the top loader and no mention of damage inthe item listing! And to boot I paid $5.00 for shipping! Any help would be appreciated in this matter, I have yet to contact the seller about this, thought I would see what you guys had to say!

Here is the link:
Stajan

Thanks!

Paul

As an eBay Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
I'd contact the seller for sure and ask for all or most of your money back

you could then send it to BAP and I'm sure they would replace it with something nice if you said it came from a pack

Paul,
If you don't send it to ITG and the seller doesn't do anything and you are stuck with it I would trade you for it. I'm getting ahead of myself though, hopefully you can replace it or get your money back.

Really ****s that it came damaged!

That's ridiculous,
5$ for a white envelope.
As much as sellers love to defend it, that's inexcusable.

Hopefully it works out for ya.

Sadly, the first thing to do here is kick yourself hard for not asking about the shipping method before bidding. Hate to say it, but you gotta learn :(

Gut 'em!
Seriously though, ask the seller and explain why stupids shouldn't put beautiful cards in envelopes meant for pieces of paper only!

If that fails...get the 12 gauge and 'surprise' him with a request for a full refund in person. ;) :D

I would love to shoot him but "apparentely" it's against the law, so I just emailed him asking him if he would refund my money, and advising him to not send cards in white envelopes. Hopefully this will all turn out well, and if I return it to ITG chances are they wont have any more Stajans! This ****s!

It says in the auction that it is $5 for insured shipping, so he should refund your money. If you would rather have the card, send it to BAP.

To quote the seller:

Policies: Shipping will be $5 insured. I ship internationally at an extra charge. Paypal, money order and checks are accepted forms of payment. Thank you and good luck!

There might have been a miscommunication. The seller mustva thought that Winnipeg was in Pittsburgh!

Here's hoping that everything works out for ya!

Some sellers are jerks about things like this.
Technically speaking Canada is international to the United States.
So they COULD say shipping from the US to Canada is way more.
And probably will to cover their arse.

I talked to the guy today and he said that he has a shipping department and didnt know that they have been sending out white envelopes, he said that I could send the card back to get a full refund! However I might go the ITG replacement route if they have a comparable replacement!

Ah well hopefully it all ends up well!

Thanks for the help guys!

Paul
