burebuyer-sent out my cards, did my paypal transactions, and did my ebay purchases for me.
Cassijon-Gaved me a free card at a show. (Sestito jersey card)
Furieux - Made a trade with him. Great member, easy to deal with and fast shipment. I recommend trading with him.

Now onto the show and comments appreciated.

MY FIRST WHALE I EVER SPEARED. Some might say it's nothing special and shouldn't be called a whale but I've never seen this copy in my life. Well one day it finally popped up. The starting price was $40(ish) and I was willing to spend up to $200 on it but since noone made a single bid, I got it for the $40 price. :dance::dance::dance:

Burebuyer and I were trying to figure that out. Burebuyer said possibly an All Star Jersey. But I decided to do some research. Remember that ugly looking 3rd jersey the Stars had? The one where some made jokes about how the logo looked something like (insert female thing in here). That jersey had some red on the jersey so I am assuming it's from that. Then Burebuyer made a joke of how UD made a mistake and the swatch is from a Gomez swatch from the Devils jersey. I could care less where the jersey is from though, it could be a Gomez Devils swatch. I have the Modano and it is off my want list

*I'm looking at a pic from ebay of the 3rd jersey. I can't tell if it's a red or a orange-ish colour now.

I know UD has some sort of thing against Modano where they constantly mix up his stuff. His artifacts duals with Parise are always switched. He had some stuff switched with Riberio multiple times also.
Either way the red makes it pop that's for sure.

I have no idea how rare the Modano really is but in my book a whale is a whale as long as its owner considers it so.

Yeah...hey Stacey, Derek and I were talking about this one card night, and my general feeling was that it was from a Ribero Canadiens jersey...it was late in the season that they were putting together Premier and the other sets, and the mixup easily could have happened.

Either way...I don't know what it is with Modano and having rare stuff in Ice (see his 05-06 Glacial Graph) but I'm glad you were able to pull that one down.

No I did not. Since I already have one, I didn't want to spend alot of money on a redemption. When do the 05/06 redemptions expires anyhow?

I don't have one in front of me, but it seems that they technically expired in the Fall of 2008...however, I believe they are still honoring the redemptions for the Kostitsyn RCs...but that may or may not be a unique case, as the Kostitsyns just went live a couple months ago.
