The only package in my box today came from Craig Levorsen (FullBag) but it had two very nice pieces inside.
malonegold.jpg

03-04 Bowman Ryan Malone Refractor Gold 10/50
03-04 UD Marc-Andre Fleury YG

The Malone is another big piece added to the slowly-forming Malone puzzle. This little bugger was a lot harder to hunt down than I thought it would be, especially considering it's a whopping BV15. It took a pretty big amount to get it, because about five other people had interest in it, but fortunately I came out with it in the end and now I don't have to worry about it. Also, this thing is in BEAUTIFUL condition. The corners and edges are really nice considering other this set is hard to get in really nice condition. The surface is absolutely pristine. My regards to Craig for keeping it in such nice condition. I'm tempted to send it in for grading. The Fleury YG was a nice little icing to the cake and both will stay in the collection for now.

Daniel,
Awesome card man! I saw the ammount of interest in it and was rather surprised. Anyways, good to see the hardcore Malone collector come out on top.
I really like those cards...just so sweet looking, too bad for me though the Stajan is auto'd so I'll probably never own one.

Congrats on the nice pickup.

Wes

BTW: Do you still play guitar?

Wes, I was pretty happy with the pickup myself. As for guitar, still playing and still loving it :) Was hoping to get a wah-wah pedal for Christmas but no luck

Another guitarist? Awesome! What kind of music you into??

Cool. I've switched over to drums kinda. I don't really know why, but I am really enjoying it. We should start a band. ;) :D

Wes

LOL Wouldn't that be sweet...I kinda play drums as a side thing (play for the school pep band and stuff) but aren't near as good as I am at guitar. Always good for letting off some steam :)

Jordan - Mostly older stuff--The Who, Hendrix, The Doors...there's so much cookie cutter stuff out today that I don't listen to the radio much. Got to go to the Eagles concert last year so that was pretty sweet. Nice to know it's not just Wes and me here :)

Also Wes, is it just the normal Bowman auto you're looking for or the Chrome version? ;)

Hey, good stuff. Yah, for good guitar, gotta love the older bands. Eagle's concert... cool!

HI Band... hehehe.

Cool. I first stumbled across drums when I was about 5, so I've always had them around, but just recently started getting serious about it. I've already sat in at a couple jam sessions and seem to be progressing nicely. Although I don't really play Guitar as much anymore, I still use the same practice habits. Really, you have to learn how to practice, lol. :o

As for the Bowman question: both. Haha. I did have the Chrome, but the stupid postal system lost the cards, so I had to send the card back. :(

Anyways, good talking to some fellow Musicians for once. :D

Wes

I busted a lot of Bowman/Bowman Chrome when it first came out, and had plenty of (125+) Refractors, X-Fractors, and Gold Refractors...and now I think I have 1 or 2 left.

There was a lot of people building that set.
