So I've been away from the hobby for a while, graduating high school, working, starting university in September, I've been quite busy, I haven't even been able to attend the local card shows. However, I have had a few maildays and been to my LCS a couple of times, and thought I'd drop in. So let's being with the non-PC stuff. The other day , I stopped at the LCS and picked up three packs of 13-14 SP Authentic. Out of the final pack came this bad boy:
13-14 SPA Limited Auto John Tavares
I'll be willing to move this either for Paypal, Malhotra stuff, or Canucks #'d base, #'d inserts, #'d parallels (No gu, autos, rookies)
Now, one the Malhotra PC stuff. First off, Select update cards:
Select Update, Select Update Prizm, Select Update Expo Cracked Ice, and Select Update Gold Prizm /10. I'm still looking for the Black Prizm 1/1. Please keep your eyes open for it, I'd love to complete the rainbow.
98-99 UD Generation Next Quantum 1 /250 w/ Yzerman. This was the smaller piece in a larger deal, and this card, despite being #'d /250, is the only copy I've ever seen, a tough find.
07-08 UD High Gloss /10. Popped up on COMC and for $20 I knew I had to grab it.
97-98 Zenith 5x7 Gold Impulse /100 CUT. Unfortunately, it had been cut, so it does have a slit down the back, but none the less, I couldn't afford the uncut, so for now, it will definitely do, and if it's never replaced, so be it, I still have a Gold Impulse
98-99 Black Diamond Winning Formula Platinum /16. The larger part of that deal mentioned earlier, cost me a really pretty penny, but I'm happy to say I own it! Thanks Phildo37 (Philip) for the deal!
Finally, last, but not least, from 87Sluggo (Ed) a 08-09 BAP Player's Club Signature /15. Originally, I was supposed to buy it off him after he was able to help me get it into Canada through his US address to save shipping. Then he dropped it off at my house with my family while I was at work. What an incredible show of generosity from one of the sites most upstanding members. Because I have been so busy, and not been to the shows, I haven't seen Ed recently, but the next time I see him, hopefully he still attends shows sometimes, I definitely owe him one, or ten. Ed, you're fantastic, and I hope to pay you back, or at least say thank you in person sometime!
Well, that's the end of the show, hope you guys like it! I'll hopefully be a bit more active soon! The Tavares is definitely being shopped, the rest stays with me!
