Martin to drive the 88 car.

It is a rumor that Mark Martin will drive the 88 car for Robert Yates Racing. They have 3 drivers in mind but Martin is at the top of the list. Ward Burton and Ricky Rudd are the other two drivers be considered for the job. Going to be interesting to see what happens.

Honestly makes no sense to me. Why would they even consider Burton or Rudd, if the team wants to be competitive? Take a look at their past few seasons, (before they 'retired') and their finishes should take them out of the running fairly easily.
Even Martin is a longshot, but this season has done fairly well, so I can't really say that too loudly. lol.
