Mike Garvey was one of the better drivers of the ASA. He has made scattered starts in the Busch series, and has more recently been running Nextel Cup. He made the race at California, just missed Atlanta, and was rained out at Bristol. Mike's Competitve Edge Motorsports team hopes to run most of this year's races. Last season Mike Garvey had a best of 25th at Pocono, where he also led a lap. This will be Mike's 11th career Cup start. - Scott

Mike really wasn't a headliner lol. I don't remember hearing his name a whole lot - even in the races he made! And if you end up relying on Fox and Press Pass - he's just another name in the ticker! Not bashing you - just stating the sad fact of the day - the little guys don't get nearly enough props! - Scott
