Master Replicas .45 Lightsabers

Hi there

I've been a Star Wars collector for a long time, but recently I've not been picking up much ( jaded by the flood of memorabilia generated by the prequels )

However this weekend when I was visiting my parents I came across the Master Replicas 0.45 scale lightsabers - and was very impressed.

The store I found them in was selling them off for £7.99 - approx $15-$16

I don't know the first thing about them - but have done a little research and that is a decent price ............... but there is something else.

One of the boxes I peaked inside was Gold

I was wondering how rare / valuable the gold variations are and whether I should be going back to pick it up ?

As you, I'm not really up on these....

Anyways, have you attempted a google search to ascertain whether or not the 'Gold' variant would garner a higher return?
