Maybe somebody can shed some light on this awesome patch for me...

First off I want to start by saying I don't believe this patch is fake. By no means am I trying to hurt the sellers reputation or anything like that. My question is more or less is how the patches and jersey pieces are stored and/or cut up and distributed into each card. The link below is a Richter I just purchased with a beautiful patch. It's pretty easy to tell exactly where it is from on the liberty head jersey but something raised a red flag for me. All the jersey pieces that i've seen on this card from this set are blue (jersey version not emblem version), coming from the dark navy blue version of the liberty head jersey. You can see on this patch that the jersey this patch came from is a white liberty head jersey. None of the jersey card versions of this card have any white in them and the couple that do have white in them came from the sleeve. You can tell because they are always 2 colored, mostly white and blue. So my question is do you think ITG or UD save pieces of emblems from other jerseys to put into cards and they're not just chopping up the same jersey for each product??....I'm sure that this is the case, it just makes me a little weary that all the jersey versions came from the navy blue liberty head and the emblem version came from a white liberty head.....Anyways take a look and tell me what you think...

I wont comment on that seller. theres enough threads about him already.... one is only 3 threads down.

but the patches i will say that for Cory schneider stuff he has at least 2 Jerseys that ITG is using. They are using his Manitoba moose military night jersey for his H&P stuff, and Canucks jersey for BTP. I'm sure they have bins that they put each players jersey in. and pull from that.

Has this seller been accused of faking before?

This seller has'nt been found to be producing fakes himself to my knowlage. However he's been known to sell fakes bought from known patch fakers.

I this case, I believe the patch to be 100% real. 1st) because I could see this card coming from ITG and it's deff from a Rangers jersey.
2nd) and most important ITG used an older Rangers jersey for Richter in BTP and the little bit of jersey shown in the patch window matches up perfectly to what I've seen on every Richter jersey piece from 10/11 ITG BTP

nice win! I obviously was the 2nd highest bidder. Amazing swatch, as this is the first year I can remember BTP using Liberty 3rd jerseys for Richter. All my number/emblems from this year are from that jersey type so I wouldn't be too worried about the legitimacy of the swatch. Congrats on the pickup!

Thanks man....I feel like I battle you and lose for every Richter piece out there lol....I was really surprised it went that high but I couldn't let this one go....All I need now is the patch/auto from this set which I'd bet you already have:|:beer::|
