Agree that no team will give Draisaitl an offer sheet, the one team I heard mentioned on the PDOcast, that would make sense was San Jose. They have the space, don't have many, any intriguing youngsters coming up on RFA status themselves. The discussion revolved around offering $9.5M per which would lead them to surrendering two firsts, a second, and a third if the Oilers didn't match.
At that number it would be interesting to see if the Oilers actually matched it. It's likely moot, but still fun to discuss.
It's a shame there's so many former players in front office positions. If the league were more like the NBA the offer sheets would be a much more common occurrence.
