He had previously sold the same card the day before and was currently offering another copy of the same card for $5000. Bidders are too frothed up with FOMO to even look at a listing and the seller for thirty seconds to see if everything is on the up and up.

Me too. I know eBay is a gigantic place and they can't possibly regulate everything, but it's still an injustice. Upper Deck probably has better things to do than sue this fellow and all his imitators into oblivion.

The reprints are like an invasive species. Just really started noticing these with the YGs and some more high end cards like this one. Someone better get control of them soon or they will be all over the place and out of control.

Looks like they took the listing down. Seller has a lot of these reprints but does not state that in the title. Double shady...
