Well I waited till the last day of the sale to pick up these 2 new Jerseys to add to my growing Portland Pirates collection.. With the sale got these 2 for under $350.00 so I am very Happy..

First up is my favorite because of the history behind the player.. Curtis was playing in Portland a few years ago when after a game I was chatting with him as his last name is the same as my mothers Maiden name... It ended up that his family is from the same part of Canada my Grandfather was from.. we were working on family history when Anaheim thought they would trade him away.. Oh well... need to get back in touch with him..lol It has worked out great for Curtis as he is having a good Career in Calgary..

Next up is the current assistant coach of the Portland Pirates and long time NHL player... Bought this Jersey because I just loved his grit when he came back to Play for Portland.. His leadership and he did not mind taking a solid hit.. (or giving one out)

Wow...2 sweet jerseys for under $350...you can't go wrong there :beer: Congrats on both additions! Perhaps you can/will find out that Glencross is related so he can throw you a few tickets to see him play

Ya Weino came back for a couple seasons just to play in the AHL.. He lives locally and thought about bringing some coaching to the ice.. played until his face got destroyed in a high hit... now he coaches for the Pirates... has a great auto as well.. just trying to figure if I should get it signed..
