Mickie James plus others released

WWE.com issued the following future endeavors statement:

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Divas Mickie James and Katie Lea Burchill as well as Superstars Shelton Benjamin, Kung Fu Naki, Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang as of today, April 22, 2010. We wish them the best in all future endeavors.

WoW suprised by the Mickie James and Shelton Benjamin the others no real loss. I think Mickie was manily beacuse she was pursuing other interests, Benjamin just nothing for them to do with him to bad he was a good in ring preformer.

Wow...Funaki's release is just an afterthought on the website? That's kinda sad considering he'd been with the company since what...1997? 1998?

Mickie James I think is trying to branch into country music fulltime, so I wonder if the release was there to accommodate that.
