I e-mailed Mr.Laraque last night with some questions, I didn't think he would reply but he did! Even if it is not him replying to the e-mail, at least someone took the time to answer the qustions and e-mail me back!!! Anyways here is what I asked him...

Who was your idol growing up?
- Jackie Robinson

We all have heard about your love for music, so who is in your CD Player?
- Prodigy

Do you prefer 1 peice sticks or the traditional wood?
- Wood

What type of player do you consider yourself?
- Tough Guy

Do you enjoy receiving fan mail?
- Yes

What is it like playing with the likes of Ryan Smyth, and Eric Brewer?
- Its Awesome!

Do you think Sidney Crosby is the next great one?
- No, No one will ever be

Who is the toughest player you have ever played against?
- Donald Brasher

Which NHL team has the loudest fans?
- Edmonton Oilers

What are your favorite hobbies?
- Movies

Do you collect hockey cards or yourself?
- Yes

If you where not in the NHL you would be doing what?
- Lawyer

Whats your favorite pre-game meal?
- Nothing in particular

Whats your advice to young kids out there trying to make it to the NHL?
- Its a dream that could become a reality if you work hard enough and sacrafice.

He really is awesome! I e-mailed him a set of 10 more questions if he replies then he is offically the coolest player ever!

its cool to get emails from people like that. I had a few emails back & forth with Chris Barnes, formerly of Cannibal Corpse and now of Six Feet Under (if anyone knows death metal they might dig that )
