Missed out on a card- Plante

We all have stories of just missing a card or a steal. I have lost many auctions from falling asleep at the wheel. Looking through Facebook- using my wife’s account, As I don’t have one, I saw a card listing in SJ. Had a 50s Boom boom on the first page. Decided to look through it and there was a Plante on the last page. By the time I emailed it had been sold, as well as a Messier rookie, the Boom Boom and other older cards. I shouldn’t have asked as it was sold for $500. Still looking if anybody has one or the buyer wants to make some money easily.

Aargh, need to be watching at all times if you are a collector!

Murphy’s Law hard at work, as usual. I check eBay 2 to 85 times a day for Giacomin stuff and I swear if I skip a day his Property Of and Lumbergraphs will both pop up for 5 bucks BIN and I’ll miss them lol.
