Well - I got an email from a buyer on eBay that he received his bubble mailer but there was no card in it.
Card in question is:
10-11 SPx Rookie Jersey Auto #196 TYLER SEGUIN RC #413/499
The email I got from the buyer is:
"Wondering if you received the other half of the envelope in the mail yet. Looks like someone cut the envelope in half, I got the half of the envelope with my address on it, nothing inside. Wondering if this is going to be covered with ebay buyer protection? maybe the post office? What do you think?
Thanks,"
I like to give the benefit of the doubt to the buyer and hope that is the real case here. The problem is that at the end of our auction he paid right away and only paid regular shipping. Our auction states that anything over $50 requires tracking/insurance so I refunded him his original paypal amount and resent the invoice. He sent a message asking what happened and I told him. Now, after he pays the extra shipping for insurance, this shows up. Coincidence? I hope so.
Anyway, please keep an eye out for the above card at other sites/ebay/locally.
The card was shipped to
Holland, MA 01521-2024
United States
Now I will see what CanPost says about it as we print all of our shipping labels that have tracking from Paypal's site. I 'think' that there is $100 basic insurance. At least I hope so.
Thanks,
Mike.
