Monthly card shows in Sherwood Park

Is there any interest in having a monthly card show in Sherwood Park. I have the opportunity to rent a space in Sherwood Park that has a large space and room for lots of parking. I can have the space on Saturday from 0900 -1700. It is not in the mall.

I'd definitely check it out. Depending on the traffic going through, I may also be interested in setting up at some point.
 
Thanks to all for the PMs. Once I get the dates finalized for the Oct-April season, I will post them. I will also reply to all who have sent messages. They will be one day show 0900-1700. We have to be totally cleared out by 1730, as there is an evening rental each Saturday. I will be advertising in Beckett, as well as some of the local media as we get started.

Good luck with this endeavour.

FYI, you might want to consider ending it in around 3:00pm. This way you give your vendors sufficient time to exit the venue.

As well, it's been my experience with Edmonton vendors, that they usually bail on the venue sooner rather than later. ;)

Taking a bit longer to nail down a location we can use on a monthly basis. I am still working on it. Updates will be coming. Many thanks to all replies, comments and help.

Brian. It would have nothing to do with the other show. It is just something I am trying to get set up out here. There will be a tie-in with a monthly collectible auction at the same location but on an evening. We want to make these a destination place for collectors to come, knowing that there will be quality items and quality people there.

First monthly show is on October 6th from 0900 - 1700. Set up can start at 0800.
The shows will be held at one of the major hotels in Sherwood Park - The Roadking Hotel. the address is 26 Strathmoor Drive. It is just south of Highway 16 on the Broadmoor Blvd intersection. Out of town dealers will be given a special rate of 119.00.
The hotel phone number is 780 464 1000. Ask for the manager - Pedro Guzman to get the rate.
Call Ron Whitney at 780 710 2826 to reserve your tables.
