No matter how many times I see this though it makes me laugh. Upper Deck launches this concept last year and collectors start buying mystery redemptions with stars in their eyes at very high prices. As a result Upper Deck fulfills these redemtpions with low end cards valued at mere fractions of what copllectors paid for them. This year Upper Deck expands the program to include Prestigious Pairings, and Triple, Quad, Six autos, etc. The market responds with, expected, hesitation and Upper Deck sends out the best cards in the product as fulfillments.
So, what's gonna be next year when collectors are back to paying high prices on the back of the success of this year's program?
