I've been doing a bunch of card scanning lately and I've never really done one of these shows and tells so I thought I'd show of my collection.
I don't really own any high end stuff and my collection is more about volume than card value. Anyways here goes.
First up is my main CBJ Collection. When I first got back into collecting this was my first PC. The basic idea was to get a minor
league or foreign issue, RC, and CBJ card of every player to suit up with the Jackets. The idea came about after I got the Donatos
CBJ Team Set from 2001-02. I started digging out all of the CBJ players I could find in cards I had boxed up and put away. When
I got done I had these two players complete:
After around 8 years of working on it I'm now at 104 players complete. You can view the rest of that collection here:
Main CBJ Collection
The second collection I started was my CBJ Game Used. Pretty much just started trying to pick up a Game Used card for every
player from the Jackets that had one issued. This Geoff Sanderson was the first CBJ game used I ever owned:
My most recent addition is this card:
I actually had no idea that a Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre game used even existed but I saw a picture of one in the random thumbs box at
the top of the HI forums and sent a private message to the poster, enforcersonly. So I shot a PM over to him inquiring about
what the set was, release year, and that kind of stuff. After helping me out with all the info on the set, which it turns out also has
an Oliwa I didn't know existed, he offered to just send me the Jean Luc so I'd have one of the two from the set I needed. Thanks
again to enforcersonly.
The rest of my Game Used Collection can be found here:
CBJ GU Collection
My third collection is my CBJ RC collection. I didn't start trading on the net until the 2003-04 releases so the only way I knew how
to obtain a Nash RC was by buying packs. My luck had been dismal all of 2002-03 until I pulled the only redemption card I've ever gotten which
was for the 2002-03 Topps RC set. Looking back I have no idea why I didn't think of trading or even looking up info about cards
online, but when I sent the redemption off I crossed my fingers and prayed that they had included Nash in the set, which they did. Not
the most high end RC but at the time it was an exciting pull for me:

My final collection is my Inserts and Parallels. Up until recently I didn't really actively chase inserts or parallels but after the last few years of OPC
releases I've really gotten into parallels. This Espen Knutsen was the first parallel I ever pulled at the time I didn't even know what a parallel was:
A kind of strange coincedence happened with these two parallels:
Someone threw the first OPC Micromotion Black Klesla into a deal we were making around the time they were first released and it was numbered 080/100.
About a month ago I made a trade with allonblack for the second one, forgetting that I already had one. When it came in the mail it was numbered 006/100.
Add them together 86 like in my user name. I had no idea on the numbering of either when I traded for them, and probably wouldn't have found them if I was
specifically looking for those two numbers, just one of those weird things that happen.
The rest of my inserts and parallels can be found here:
CBJ Inserts/Parallels Collection
I started my CBJ Collection with a Donato's Team Set and couple of old base cards and at last count I have over 1760 different CBJ cards counting base and I
just wanted to say thanks to everyone in the online trading community thats every helped me with info, trades, freebies, etc. If it wasn't for all of the great people on
sites like this my collection wouldn't be where it is today and I most likely wouldn't be collecting at all. Thanks for having a look.
