Really depends on the jersey and the team, but NHL jerseys typically cost more unless its a rare jersey or short-lived team. Popular players tend to drive up the costs for their jerseys, though when teams sell their jerseys, often that is the high water mark for that jersey. Secondary market prices them much lower.
Vial would be a good one to land - I've seen a few of his around over the years. Only one other Sabres jersey of his exists other than the one I have - most Sabres fans were not aware he was a Sabre for the 99-00 preseason. Good luck in your search -
