My Entire 2000-01 UD Game Used Collection in One Picture

Over the last two years I've been selling off most of my collection, which was primarily Keith Tkachuk and various sets. The one collection I've decided I will hold onto is 2000-01 Upper Deck Game Used. I still remember being a kid when these came out and how amazing I thought the design was (plus it was still the day and age when a game used card was rare).

I recently decided to put the entire collection in one-touch cases with protective sleeves and upgrade my storage boxes as well. I figured it was a good time to snap a photo of all of them together.

I still get excited when I see cards from this era. Game used cards that were pulled back then were certainly a cause for celebration. Great display.
 
Every few years a big lot of these will find their way to eBay. A couple weeks ago I was able to snag this lot below. Missed out on a Potvin and Bondra I needed, but glad to get these.

The LeClair and Hull are for sale as I already have copies:

Hello everyone!

Long time with no updates. Progress on this set doesn't happen often, but seems to come in spurts. Over the past month there were a number of these cards posted on eBay.

I was able to pickup the Gretzky jersey and finish off the base game-used set.

The Samsonov was one I'd never seen available, so snatched it off eBay for a pretty high price. But when it only comes once every ~10 years, what can you do? I now just need the Cujo to finish off this set

Finally, I picked up two really nice patches from our good from Mario in Sweden. He was kind enough to part with these, which also have great patches - something rare for this set. Really cool Wings Fedorov patch and I believe the Shanahan patch is from a Whalers jersey.

Now that I have some more time on my hands, I'm planning to scan my full collection so I have something better to show than the poor photos in the first post!

Incredible stuff. You were one of my first deals on Beckett back in the day, I'm pretty sure it was A Scott Gomez I traded to you. The rest is history.
 
That is amazing, love the new additions. Hard to find new cards for the set I would imagine.

Well, I finally got around to scanning and editing all the cards in my collection to create the grid in the original post.

I also included my missing cards and maybe someone out there has some of these - let me know!

At the rate I'm at now I pickup about 2-3 of these per year and mostly off eBay. I have the Felix Potvin double incoming which was great to nab considering the rabid Potvin collectors out there.
 
Awesome...this is such a nostalgic set for me. One of my favorite years of UD. I really hope you complete it, that would be a heck of an accomplishment.
 
This is just beautiful! Pre - 2005-06 sets are like a different age of collecting, before the Crosby frenzy. Good memories all around.
