Upstanding Member,
Hi everybody i finally had a chance to sit down with my laptop and share my expo with everybody with a lot of pick ups LOL

Where to start....left around 6 am our time (pac)with my good and longtime friend fastmax(Doug)and flew to Calgary,at that point we were able to connect with my buddy and HI's own GOMAZ(jeremy)..from there the flight to Toronto and when we touched down straight to the world of hockey cards!!!Had a chance to drop our luggage and off to expo to buy some wax on top of a case of cup that doug and i cracked with an audience of our fine members like Scooby1970,No No No the other Steve,Great8,LSOH,99goals,Bto3105,Avs20,and a few others as well......just a quick to say...........what a GREAT group of guys we have on this site, you truly meet some good friends in the hobby and felt for the most part the hobby is alive and kicking!!!!Our cup case was pretty brutal. The biggest hit we had was a Mackinnon/Barkov signature renditions /15 so it was on the weak side but on that note its the gamble on wax.....you can also HIT in which i'm sure if you crack wax you know where i'm coming from

.Well dont want to get to winded but thanks again to everybody i traded with and dealt with it at expo...trader night on Sunday again was just a blast with you guys!!!Well scanned most stuff(the better stuff)and Doug i'm sure will post our cup hits.....any who onto the show!!!!
Well let's start off with the non hockey.I don't normally collect basketball but have a side p.c of guys i loved to watch...was a huge and still basketball fan of the eighties guys and some of the hall of famers but autos of these guys arent bad:

and a beauty from exquisite:

onto the hockey.....here is a mixture of pickups in trades and various deals:

this is a 8 auto from NT:

a nice looking roy:

a couple sweet sakic pieces as well:

a wicked ovy patch:

a couple cool prime colors of a couple hall of famers:

love the buried treasure cards for the guys i like:

a couple nice MAC pieces:

this card when i saw it i just had to pick it up....its from 04-05 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection....love the products between 98-99 to 04-05 some real cool and rare cards in those years and this is one of them.Just researched the subset and therenwere 9 1/1 cut autos made for the product and i was lucky enough to acquire one.....the older cuts are just so different in design and just beautiful.......from the Montreal Canadiens Doug Harvey:

next off a beauty Stammer piece....love the ice rookies......

next off i saw this in Calgary with AJ and forgot to pick it until the first day of expo.....a crazy ORR the THL of the northland part of the stick:

next off a couple of SUPER SWEET Yzerman cup cards!!!!!

alot of you know i started off with collecting Jonathan Toews but am really more focussing on his rookie year stuff mostly but acquired many from good friends off Hi for good trades or decent prices...never cool to gouge!!!I had to mention though one of the coolest pick ups for me was the 14-15 UD Series 1 Canvas auto /19...cracked a few boxes of series 1 but the one card i wanted from it frankiefives pulled it and scooby and myself went to his booth as i was piking up the yzerman tribute from frankie....to say the least the conversation that frankie, myself and steve was having was frickin hilarious!!!!Behold the Toews pick ups:

next off are my Brodeur pickups...thanks to Frank(Scooby again)for the emblems and the header auto of Brodeur....and the other Brodeur is my first shield of him and what i love about it is i believe it is Brodeurs first shield card and i love the design of the card as well!!!!

the last couple picks up are Gretzky's...had a a couple others but moved them in various deals at expo but ultimately got these 2 beauties.....

the cool thing on the Gretzky scripted sticks....its the one card on UDs site that shows Gretzky in a video signing that actual card.....love the little side info you find out on your cards LOL!!!!!
Just wanted to do a special SHOUT:beer::beer::beer: out to Jeremy and the work he does to maintain this site which many of us are glad to be a part of.Thanks again Jeremy....Your aces buddy!!!! LOL Comment appreciated and thanks again everybody
