Just bit the bullet and picked up a hobby box of Artifacts as well as a retail blaster and a retail 3-pack of Black Diamond.

Black Diamond first.
3-pack:
2 double diamonds: Hejduk and Kopitar
rest singles

Retail Blaster box: (MUCH BETTER )
double Toskala
triple Getzlaf
Triple Rookie Steve Mason
Quad Jersey St. Louis (all 4 Black)
Gemography Bobby Ryan

Now on to Artifacts:
pack 1: Modano jersey (38/199, white (dirty) and black)
pack 2: rookie redemption wild card RED308 (?)
pack 3: Autofacts Sam Gagner
pack 4: rookie Garrett Stafford (stars)
pack 5: stars Kopitar
pack 6: legends Marcel Dionne
pack 7: Tundra Tandems Svatos (19/100, black/white swatch) and Wolski (maroon)
pack 8: rookie Tom Cavanagh (sharks)
pack 9: legends Terry O'Reilly (17/75)
pack 10: Treasured Swatches Lanny McDonald (16/25, blue/white jersey), (black/white patch)

So that about does it, nothing terrible, but nothing great at the same time. Let me know what you think. Everything is for trade, looking for Rick Nash stuff.

Hey Rich, I'd say you did pretty well. Artifacts 06-07 was the product that sucked me back into the hobby fulltime a couple years ago. It's always a fun break even if it's parallel hell to player collectors. You should do well with what you got there in getting some Rick Nash stuff.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was very happy with the retail blaster, 2nd best thing I have pulled from retail this week. For christmas, I received one of those sets with 10 packs and a 'Guaranteed Jersey or Auto card'. The guaranteed one was an 06/07 UD Tom Poti with a nice 2 colour white/red swatch. Not bad, could have been worse, right? But I sure beat the odds in one of the 07/08 Hot Prospects. It seemed really fat, so I jokingly said there was a giant decoy in it since you never get anything good out of a retail pack, but low and behold, there was a Devin Setoguchi Prized Products Auto Patch card, numbered 142/399. Can't beat that.

If you need these lmk, i like the mason RC, and if you need these ill look thru your bucket.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I was out and about to day and decided to tempt fate and try another 2 retail blasters, just to see how lucky I really was and I think I should have stopped at 1.

Double: Modano, Dumont, Jokinen, D. Sedin
Triple: Datsyuk, Lidstrom
Rookie Gems: Both Quads! Zach Bogosian, Kyle Turris
Premier Cuts: Elias (x2!?! seriously?!?)

Did not too bad really, but nothing like the 1st.

I would say that your second blaster is definately better in the Rookie catagory. Sure an auto and a jersey card are nice but I would trade those for a Turris and Bogosian Quad in a heart beat. JMO

Yes the quads are what you want. As long as you're having fun just keep cracking. I'm interested in your BD Mason and Autofacts Gagner. PM if these are for trade, thx Dan
