Good afternoon all, hope your weekend is going well. Recently had my first PSA Submission get returned and was pleased with the results. Obviously could have hoped for better grades, but, this submission was mostly about slabbing some of the first rookie cards I acquired for my collection when I was a kid. On with the show!!

These three I had graded for my cousin for his collection. Nothing to write home about here with these grades.

I got a good buy on these on Ebay recently and decided to send them in. I'll be keeping one for my collection and the other will be available.

These two cards were the first pre-90's cards that I added to my collection. I remember trading a pile of Upper Deck and Pro Set cards to get these two. I felt like such a high roller at the time being able to acquire these two rookie cards. I could have easily just bought a PSA10 of each of these cards, but, these two are all about nostalgia for me!!

Before I acquired the Robitaille from the above picture, I remember as a kid going to a card shop in Cranbrook and they had wax packs from 1987 OPC. I had wanted to get a Robitaille, so I bought a pack for something like $12 to try a pull one. Well, I got the Patrick Roy instead. I was pretty pumped to pull that card (I was like 14 at the time!!) and it became one of the center pieces for me and my collection. Another nostalgia card.

I acquired these two cards in the early 90's as well...I had opened two boxes of 1990/91 O-Pee-Chee Premier and traded all my duplicates, minus the big name rookie cards - Federov, Jagr, etc...for these two Yzerman cards. Another moment in my hobby career to feel like a high roller. I was excited to see the 8.5 on the Scoring Leader card, but, was hoping for a little better on the RC. Again, these cards are all about the memories for me.

Couldn't ask for any better than that!!

This one graded pretty much where I thought it would, but, another card I just wanted slabbed and will not be leaving the PC any time soon.

Thanks for the look. Comments welcome and appreciated!!

Love it! The nostalgia is priceless. Those cards are all classics. That Gretzky looks really nice for a 3. Thanks for sharing!

Great show and tell, some of my favourite cards in there  I’m going to have a fairly similar post in the next few days.

Thanks everyone!!
I wasn't too sure on how this submission would play out. As I live less than an hour from the US border, I had the cards shipped from the Montana Shipping Outlet by Fedex which was waaaayyyy cheaper and easier than trying to use Canada Post to ship these out.
