If I get to 50, someone should definitely put me away somewhere. For some reason, I got it in my head that I wanted 21 to equal his jersey number. Seemed like a fun side project. I expected it to take years because the Ice Rookies /99 are usually tough pulls…I wasn’t really prepared to have to pick up so many so quickly!

Thanks Ryan. I tried to learn a little bit after creating my Ovechkin site. I had no idea what I was doing when I created that site and it has become a disaster. But I am in the process of moving all of my player collections to their own sites and will clean everything up a bit and make it easier to navigate and more organized.

Isn’t there some saying like “You can take the boy out of the hoard but you can’t take the hoard out of the boy”…something close anyway. LOL. I tried Brian – I really did. In an email I sent to a friend just a few weeks ago, I said the following:
“I did start a new player collection recently – JVR – and I am only collecting 1 copy of each card!!! Can you believe it? LOL”
Well, we see how long that lasted!
This is a case of Lee cant collect anymore Caps rookies because he has them all!!! So when he is bored, he will collect a new hot Flyers rookie.

I thought so hard about collecting Giroux, but I know there are already a few Giroux collectors here and I didn’t want to have to compete with them. They seem kinda brutal. The only Giroux card I have is the Ultimate Rookie Shield and after seeing how they have come at me trying to get that – there is no way I would want to go up against them…worse than the Gaborik crazies!
