I guess a little about me, since I haven't consistently posted on here in a couple years.
I'm Dave. For hockey, which this site is mainly about, I have pretty decent collections of Alexandre Daigle & Patrik Stefan. Nothing more really for Stefan than RC year and second / third year cards. Still actively collect them, but, since they weren't around forever, there isn't a monumental checklist to try to obtain all of their cards / rare issues.
I've wanted to seriously collect a hockey player, with regional ties, for ages. I somewhat collect Matt Niskanen, but, around my area and the Virginia / Mt. Iron area, there are a lot of collector's that are willing to drop more money on his stuff than I. I've got a couple Cup patch auto's, a SPA Gold patch auto /100 and about a dozen more auto's & sweater cards.
So, with all that nonsense being said, I finally decided on someone to collect, well, to the best of my ability. That'd be Justin Faulk. He led the (most) local D1 college to a National Title in '10-'11 and his stuff is relatively cheap. Plus, being a defenseman, hopefully his stuff will remain fairly cheap and not be too far into the stratosphere.
Without further ado, here's what I've got in hand (so far) of Faulk. I'll just keep adding to this thread with what I get. I hope you all enjoy as much as I am and finally getting really back into hockey collecting for the first time since my early teen's:
