My nicest show & tell in a while

I received yesterday one of my nicest PC item in a while. A complete set of 132 cards, includings 58 rookies, and a lots of HOFs.

This is the set with most rookies in it since 1951-52 parkhurst, and includes rc cards of Jagr, Sundin, Roenick, Modano, Fedorov, CuJo, Mogilny,... And HOFs like Gretzky, Roy, Lemieux, Yzerman, Hull, etc...

I think this is the first set with a certain quality control in production, and cut cleanly. This is the 1990-91 OPC premierset... I'm proud of that set because it is completely graded by PSA, and only with 10's!!! There is only 13 known set like this one, and a maximum of 20 possible (Phil Housley pop report of PSA 10 is 20).

Awesome set. I remember my dad bringing me home a box and I putting together the set before the price went crazy. At one point I think the book value of the set was over $300.

Love that set I can still remember how hot those cards were. Packs $10, rookies and stars smoking hot. The stores and show tables couldn't keep the Roenick, Jagr and Fedorov cards. It's still one of my favorite sets and I still have the set I collected busting packs back in the day.

Nice set..brings back fond memories.
I have a set of these as well, but not graded. I might still have a few unopened boxes laying around in the basement somewhere.
This was start of the end for me when I quit the hobby the first time. Started collecting as a kid in the 80's..and by early 90's call it a quits. The OPCP might be the last complete set I did back in the day. Just got back into the hobby last year.
