I finally started becoming happy with what I was starting to achieve in regards to this hobby after what felt like years of dissatisfaction with my end results but my collecting started to fade early this year due to me wanting the funds I normally had saved up for other things in life (including an alcohol addiction).

Luckily for me somethings happened that forced me to sober up and with that has come a steady stream of income which I have used to pick up some MASSIVE additions to the PC.

I'm so glad to be collecting again and would love to keep you guys updated with my PC as it continues to grow

Great stuff! I really like the Forsberg Honorable Numbers auto patch. The sick patch, plus the fact Forsberg autos are tough. Cool card amongst others.

Its been hard trying to stay sober but I know its the right thing to do and it sure helps when I'm able to pick up something that constantly makes me happy everytime I see it with the money saved from quitting drinking.

Congrats on the pickups and, even more importantly, the lifestyle change. My dad has dealt with an alcohol addiction for a number of years now and I've seen first-hand the difficulties that come with that. Each day is a new challenge to overcome, and if you project too far down the road, it can become overwhelming and seem almost impossible. But he has now gone well over a year and counting without touching a drink.

I may not be able to fully relate to an addiction, but I can certainly respect anyone with the courage to face one head-on. I'm glad the hobby is giving you joy and a sense of direction in helping you fight it.
