I thought I would spend a little time showing my Steven Gerrard PC.

Some of you may be aware, my football ( soccer ) loyalties are spread far and wide - I support Liverpool ( hence Stevie G ) but also Leeds and the team closest to my home, Hull City.

Very Nice collection there of the skipper Mal! Love he match attax cards.

He's a great player and is the face of LFC. He will probably be one of the best players to ever play for the reds.

Honestly I don't know - football cards are so difficult to make accurate checklists of ( as Avalanchefan can testify )

I quite often find cards on Ebay that I didn't know exist, from sets that I thought I was finished with

As a starting point the Futera website has checklists

The good thing about Futera is they also keep a log of GU pieces in cards - ie what colour swatch each serial number has. Meaning that you can see whether your lime green swatch with purple swirls is rare or common - and it also stops people faking patches !!

It is a world football set, so a pretty impressive checklist - not so much Premier League based

I still believe UD should do an EPL set with autos & GU - Match Attax is huge with kids, imagine a product like Hockey Series I - but football based

Great looking Stevie G cards and thanks for the Futura Link.
It's amazing they keep track of all swatches and let you know what is out there, the other companies could learn a thing or two.
I'm a collector of all things Hearts, Newcastle and Scotland. With a player focus on Denis Law and Alan Shearer and lots of the old ABC vintage cards from the 50's and up and the Topps cards from the 70's. My faves are the 1959 ABC and 75/76 Topps set (looks like the Topps George Brett rookie year).
Its great to see some of the old players who are now managers.
One of these days I'll get a round to posting some pics.
