went to Nashville to see my preds vs wings on Mon and Wed, yes I drove the 9 hours to get there rather then go to Joe Louis Arena to see them there.
Anyways the Monday game was amazing, great game great seats.

After the game went down to see Tootoo and got this pic of the only player ever to play for the redwings that I liked.

Me, Steve Yzerman and my brother

he was in a hurry and not too happy but was nice enough to stop for us, we took the same elevator and when he got outside he was mobbed by people.

Here is the gang at Wed game front row behind the Wings penalty box

got to talk smack to Chelios (who was really cool about it)

the best was Draper, the guy in front got on him and Draper squirted him with the water bottle, he then told the NHL Official who works the penalty box door to kick him out because we threw water at him. The guy said Draper would have talk to an usher..LOL my throat is sore my liver is recovering and I am considering flying down for Sundays game..

Thanks for the Read!!!

Cool story and great pictures.

However, there is a problem. You're a Preds fan but where is your jersey? You don't have anything Preds on. Get some Preds gear on bud!

Thanks guys
All the Preds stuff I have is autographed and I don't like wearing it because I don't want anything spilled on it

Somrthing I don't understand , do the fans reallly send some real fish on the ice before the game ? Is there just one ?

Olivier

They are real fish, Catfish to be exact... They threw 4 out that game one in each corner.. It is just something they do during playoffs or against the wings.

They are trying to steal the Red Wings Octopus thunder. Unlike Detroit fans though they got it wrong. See when the octopus was first thrown on the ice it was done to signify that you needed eight wins to win the cup, one leg for each win. Nashville however throws out a fish which in turn only has a front and a back therefore only two ends so only two wins!!! If they really want to start to win the need to throw out some centipedes!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Sorry Chad, at least Tootoo and Weber can join Sundin and Tucker on the links now!!!!

GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, thanks for clearing that up Steve. I thought the Octopus represented the Redwing Players and Fans. Slimy Suckers who Stink with no Spines....:D
