My UD Redemption Replacements...

So today is the day I get my replacements for the following cards:

06/07 SPA Quad Auto Iginla/Kipper/Phaneuf/Tanguay /10
04/05 Artifacts Autofacts Darren McCarty Blue 1/1
and 05/06 UD Notable Numbers Zubov/56, Conroy/22, Weekes/??

Obviously the McCarty is not a super high end card (although it is a 1/1) so book value on it would not be extremely high. The quad auto I really wanted though... since I collect pretty much only high end Flames cards at this point.

Anyway... this is what I was sent:

01/02 SPx Signs of Xcellence Bobby Orr auto SP
00/01 UD e-Volve Auto/Jersey Ray Bourque /50
00/01 SPx Winning Materials Brett Hull auto /25

Clearly not bad cards, how can I argue with being sent 3 hall of famers... especially that Orr which is a really tough find. Would have liked to be sent any high-end Flames cards like I had requested, but I'll just shut my mouth knowing what I COULD have been sent. It softens the blow a little about the quad auto... but I'm still disappointed.

The cards are not available at the moment, but I can scan them if anybody would like to see them. Would love to hear your opinions on whether I got hosed or not. I overspent on the quad auto in the first place, so I know I didn't get full value out of the cards I was sent... but opinions are welcome.

I think that was a fair replacement.
If I'm not terribly mistaken, the same Orr sold for around 300$ (give or take 20$ maybe) a while ago. That Hull cant be a bad card to have either. From the years I've been collecting, I actually saw the first card from that set only a few months ago. I didnt know they had an autographed version before that

In all likelihood you would have had 3 autos and a Kipper sticker on your quad, so I think you did just fine on your replacements. Strange that they had no Flames cards for you. Guess thiose go in the bike spokes and the Hull autos go on the shelves.

If you ever decide you want to get rid of the Orr SPx, then please PM me as I am very interested in it!! Looks like you got good quality cards but you gave up good quality cards also! I think it was pretty close to being an even tradeoff...

Think you did awesome! That ORR SPX just sold for $300ish like a month ago.... which should easily replace the quad and then some. The others are solid too..

Really, one of the better replacement packages I've seen.... very fair!

I think you did very well too! The Orr is freakin sweet. Although, the quad would've been great for the pc.
