A late thanks to DNJ Cards, this cards worth to be shown!
I'm collecting Varlamov for my kid since a few years. I have only 2 rookie year cards missing, the BAP /15 & the OPC blank back. But on Beckett, the 08-09 The Cup foundations is listed
I never seen it, and this card was never released from what I heard.
3-4 years ago, I bought from Leximo the "artist proof" single card, cut from the uncut sheet of Varlamov 08-09 The cup foundations. At least, my boy will have the nearest of the real card.
In spring 2013, I had the idea the make the real "The cup foundations, with the GREAT help of DNJCards. He help me to send the artist proof card to "Varlie" to sign it. DNJCards received it only a few months ago, like this :
^^^ A nice misplace blue sharpie, an another grey sharpie hard to see, where the signature should be. ^^^
Meanwhile I send to DNJCards some Varlamov patch cards (Ultimate premium & prime colors).
The final result is outstanding! DNJCards made miracles with the cards!
Finally, I have an Unreleased card from Upper Deck, print by Upper deck, with an official signature and real Game worn patches. Only the back of the card is custom made, but still with the spirit of the 08-09 The cup foundations.
