Well, I rarely ever do mailday posts, but I'm bored today so I figured why not. A bunch of these just showed up today, but a few I picked a few months ago and I never got around to posting them. I'm only going to post the "nicer" cards as I don't want to drag this on to long. Here she goes....

First off, a few NON - Bertuzzi items I picked up for trade bait.

Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Holmstrom OPC Premier Triple Patch # 2/3 from Ebay. Bland Zetty patch, but what do you do :)

Next up is a 07-08 Superlative Nameplate of Mark Messier 1/1. The "R" is from his 1994 All Star game jersey. I've had this one for a bit now, but just never posted it here.

Next up is a Markus Naslund 08 OPC Premier triple patch. Nothing overly high end, but I just love the patches they put into this product

I've never owned a Crosby autograph yet, so I picked this one up recently. I've SLOWLY been putting this set together (very slowly), so this one is not for trade/sale.

Now...on to the good stuff. The "slowly getting near completion" Bertuzzi PC. For those of you that still hate Bertuzzi, you should exit now :)

A bunch of you who have been around for a few years may remember a former Bertuzzi collector who went by the name "Vic-fish" (Jason). He quit collecting a few years ago, but has always held onto his collection. About 2 weeks ago he emails me and tells me he's going to be getting rid of his cards, and gives me first shot at the ones I needed. This guy has pretty much EVERY single card that I have been searching for for the past few years. Needless to say, I filled some very big holes in the PC today :)

First off, a few nice cards from OPC Premier. Like I said above, I just LOVE this set. Great looking cards and great looking patches. All cards came via Ebay.

Last but not least...# 1. I have been BEGGING for this card for over 2 years now. Curt (Gabbyguy) owns 1, and this is the only other copy that I have ever seen (and I don't think Curt has seen the other either). To me, this is THE card to have as a Bertuzzi collector. It is low #'d, and accompanies a guy named Gaborik on the card....and we all know those Gabby collectors are crazy :whatthehell: Even 1/1's will never mean as much to me as this card. A HUGE HUGE Thanks goes out to VicFish for this one!!!

Some very nice cards. That Gabby/Bert card is very nice ... it always feels good to knock a whale off of your list :)

Brian aka Capt. Ahab, so glad you were able to find one of these whales!!!!!!!! I know we've talked many times about this card. Wooooooo!!! :beer: :beer:

And you're right....have only seen two of the three...Haven't seen the 3/3 pop up yet. :mad:

Sheesh! Even on a little card he looks huge. Back when I was still getting to know different hockey players, I'll never forget when an announcer called him "a big lumberjack of a man"...lol.

Congrats on the acquisitions!

Hey Kevin, Are you talking about the Big Deals card (#245 I think)? He doesn't have the emerald, if that is the one you are looking for. I need it too :) I think he has a few show cards though. As far as game used...I think there might be an Honor Roll triple jersey and the MVP Lethal Lineups. If you need any of those, PM me.

webernaslundco - Thank you also, but I have all of those cards too. I have over 300 different auto's/game used card, so finding ones I need is getting a bit tough...but I always keep looking :)

Curt - I was beginning to think this card was never going to see the light of day ever again. Jason (VicFish) actually emailed me recently about a card I was selling, as he was thinking of getting back into collecting. That's when I REALLY thought it would never be up for sale. Then, out of the blue, he sends me an email saying he'd sell them all. I think he was drunk...but I didn't care...lol. I just started offering money before he changed his mind :)

Thanks to everyone else for all you nice comments. I know Bert isn't the most like guy out there, but I think we can all appreciate the thrill of knocking off a bunch of your most wanted cards all at once. I was starting to lose interest a bit in the hobby, but this has totally recharged my desire to collect. :dance: :dance: :dance:
 
Some real nice stuff there. I like the Canucks Quad patch best. I saw one of those on ebay a week ago, but it was out of price range. Settled for the Quad jersey version instead. All in all, great job and keep the posts coming =)

You do realize you've now ruined (no, I think destroyed fits better) my year, right Brian :mad:

Glad you were finally able to talk him out of it, at least one will exist in a Bert pc. Nice to see those others pop up also!
 
So that canucks quad popped up on the bay and it was bang on my estimates;):D

...but if you actually paid full price for the card you traded it would be a fair 1:1 trade lol
