Had a great time there yesterday! parking was meh, the west entrance was closed so ppl that parked on that side couldnt get in there. I dont mind walking at all but felt bad for ppl that have walking issues or ppl walking around boxes/cases of cards
Saw our lord and savior Jeremy (GOATmez) enjoyed chatting with him despite being drunk from looking at cards XD
Not too much hockey/soccer for me (as expected tbh) but a few nice boxes with some bargains hiding in there. Booths 926, 730, 637, 742, and 700 all had hockey... gotta stop at puck junk (Booth 700)... Sal is a baller, great selection of stuff plus you get a free set of "bad hockey cards"... while its a gag gift gotta love when someone takes time to put together something small like that even if its for a laugh. He has some cool shirts as well!
Got to chat with some UD employees which was cool, kinda seems whatever they try and do idea wise the uppers shoot down ideas saying its too expensive for them to make :/ The employees I chatted with seemed like good ppl. If youre there you can grab a free NTHCD card on their card wall (Bedard RC)
LAST... I saw my grail card and nearly fainted when I did

was in the sellers PC (hes and Avs fan and collector)... he said the card wasnt for sale but if he had to hed take $55k even for him that would be hard to part with. I get it, pc. But had to ask he was super cool and nice
Closing with its kinda a shame a decent # of hockey and soccer collectors but they didn't even know the SOCO convention was going on Thur-Sat and hockey collectors didn't know about tonight. A bunch of ppl from China, Malaysia, Europe, and even a guy from Australia I met there for a SOCO convention they looked super bored at the regular national show, I felt that pain in years past
but lets hope the shows tonight come through
