Need some epack trading advice!

I've been chasing all the Mikael Backlund Compendium series 2 parallels. I already own the blue parallel, I plan to buy the red parallel on COMC, and I've been slowly chipping away at the gold parallel by trading. Right now I'm at 105/250 in my pursuit for Gold. I've been using the free daily epack (3 cards) to trade for Backlund cards. I've noticed trading for Conpendium series 2 has slowed down a little recently. So here's my question, is it best for me to continue using compendium series 2 free packs to trade for the Compendium Backlund cards, or would it be easier to trade the most current product in free packs (right now it's UD Series 2) to trade for the Backlund Compendium cards?

it's a tough call, comp2 was lightly broken it seems because it came out to close to UD2.
There are lots that value UD2 base more then comp.

You can always alternate between the two different products.

I also find asking for the team often gets me the player I want faster also.

I'm seconding all of this. I am also one that values UD2 over Comp 2 as well - to the extent that I just asked people to take all the Comp 2 cards I was sent.
 
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I will try some UD Series 2 packs and attempt to trade for Conpendium with those. Is there some sort of way to communicate better what you collect on epack? Like the message boards or anything like that?

Just try and send out as many trades as possible, keep on breaking the Comp2 and UD S2 free packs, as those UD S2 base may carry more "weight" when it comes to base cards and can give you more star players to use for more Backlund base.

Try alternating the daily free packs. Comp2 today, UD S2 tomorrow, Comp2 the next, back to UD S2, Etc, etc, so you get a decent amounts of both series.

I also found that after sending out a trade offer, adding a little polite message to the other party like "I collect Enroth, thanks for the help with these base cards!" seemed to help also, as some collectors may be more willing to help out a fellow collector.

Just be genuine, keep on sending those trades, have some fun with this chase along the way, and I'm sure you'll get some help along the way. Keep it up :D

Oh, and what's your username on there? I'm creasecollector on ePack as well... feel free to add me ! If I get any Backlund base, I'll be sure to send them your way!
